This meaningful practice nourishes the spirits of the deceased and supports their journey in the afterlife while also cultivating blessings for you and your family.
 
What’s Included in This Service:
Alms Offering to Monks: I will make a traditional offering on your behalf, presenting a yellow bucket filled with essential items for the monks, such as orange cloth, food, water, and other necessities. These alms can be curated or selected from prepackaged offerings at the temple.
Temple Donation: A donation will also be made to the temple in your name and that of your ancestor, further amplifying the merit and blessings for both the living and the departed.
Ceremony with Prayer and Water Ritual: During the offering, the monks will pray over the alms while I pour water into a special chalice, focusing earnestly on your ancestor. After the prayer, the water is poured onto the temple grounds, nourishing a tree and symbolically feeding the spirit of your ancestor.
 
When to Perform This Ritual:
The day after a loved one’s passing.
40 days and 100 days after their death to support their transition.
Any time thereafter to continue feeding their spirit with good energy and merit.
 
This ritual is a beautiful way to express love and gratitude, providing your ancestor with spiritual nourishment and uplifting their soul. It also brings blessings and positive karma into your life, as this act of generosity reverberates through the spiritual realm.
